psychopaths in business

psychopathy and employment

I have already written an article on the link between childhood trauma and psychopathy which has been published on this site (please click here to read it).

Some people do not realize that many psychopaths are what is known as ‘functional psychopaths’ (I write about these in my article) who have good enough control of their less pleasant characteristics to not only succeeed, but to flourish in their careers. For example, cold, calculated, unemotional reasoning, fearlessness and a willingness to take risks (all hallmarks of the psychopath) can be a real asset to those intent on business and financial success.

I thought it would be of interest, therefore, to list ten occupations in which psychopaths are likely to be found and ten occupations in which they are much less likely to be found.
